FOTD @ MC 15th Anniversary Party

Hello! How's everyone? I hope all are doing good :)

It's been a long time since my last FOTD...I even can't remember the last time I dolled up haha ^_^

Anyways, I had the opportunity to do so yesterday because my fave Filipino author and friend Ms. Martha Cecilia celebrated her 15th year anniversary as a romance novel writer. I really had a blast at last night's event and I'm so happy that my makeup and hair cooperated throughout the evening. As expected of a big event, we had a lot of photo taking and those photos will be uploaded at Facebook and our fans club's forum (eirycat.proboards50.com) so you should always be ready to have your picture taken anytime. Can i just say it's a success? yup! It is a success! Kudos to the organizers because everything was perfect: from the venue to the food.. Till our next event Eirycats! ^_^

Derma Roller #3

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are having fun :)

As promised, here's the continuation of my Derma Roller (DR) Skin Diary.. As you all know, my 3rd DR was postponed for almost a month because I broke out and we needed to give my new meds a chance to work. 2 weeks ago, I was able to have clear skin so my derma decided that we can push through with the 3rd derma roller.

Here is a shot 2 weeks after my 3rd DR. I just got out of the shower so this is my bare face.

I hope you can notice the improvements too :)

My skin's texture became finer and smoother especially the areas that I rarely get pimples/acne. My ice pick acne scars are starting to "elevate" and I'm crossing my fingers that they will disappear totally after a couple of sessions.

My acne breakouts also became smaller so it's really a blessing for me that my new meds is working and that the DR has helped in the absorption process. I hope the acne control effect of the derma roller will be seen in my skin soon.

I'm planning to get my 4th session within this week so expect another update in 2 weeks :)

Till next time. Bye!

Organizing Tips: Bags, Makeup, Brushes

Hello everyone! You might've been surprised that I'm posting 2 days in a row, right? haha Well, I'm still staying at home right now so I decided to do some blogging.

As I'm thinking about the topic I want to do, I got an idea to do a post about organizing. So, this is how I organize some of my stuff to keep my small room clutter free. I hope these tips can help :)

1.) Makeup Brushes

I kept my brushes upright in a glass for a while like the many makeup gurus I watch on YT, I liked it that way because I can easily access any brush I want to use.

BUT, I just realized dust can accumulate on my brushes and can cause me to breakout. I really am paranoid on the cleanliness of anything I put on my face so I decided to change my container to this:
It's a simple Rubbermaid container that is air tight. It keeps my brushes dust-free 24/7.
Plus, it's easy to keep on top of my traincase coz it's not too big hehe :)

2.) Lipticks

Have you ever had a problem looking for the right lipstick because they are all jumbled in a pouch or at your drawer? Well, I have that problem. I can't seem to use every piece of my lipsticks coz I just tend to grab anything on top of the pile every morning since I'm on the rush. It's really a waste of time for me so I kept looking and looking for an organizing tips for this. I tried making my own lipstick divider using cardboard cut-out but it just won't stay put long enough. I also wanted to buy lipstick organizer from the mall but they are so expensive! I thought I'll get stuck with this problem until I saw this baby at Saizen (Trinoma). They are lipstick organizers made from hard plastic and they're cheap! It only cost Php85! What a steal!

Look at my lipsticks! All aligned and standing up. I placed them with the label on the top so I can easily see the shade name and I won't need to open each one up whenever I'm looking for a certain shade to use.
I place them at the bottom of my traincase but if you have a vanity table then you can display all your lipsticks on top :)
NOTE: I think they also have organizers for nail polishes if you are a nail polish addict.

3.) Eyeliner, Mascara, Lipliner

Just like with my brushes, I kept my liners and mascara in a case so that I can just bring out this case and use the stuff I need then return it back. So easy. I used my empty chocolate tin can for this purpose.

4.) Bags/Purses/Hats
I saw this tip while I was watching at Lifestyle Network. When you have a small space, use your wall surface in organizing stuff like shelvings and such. I have a very small room and I sleep under the double-deck bed (my sister sleeps on the top) and so I got myself a screen with 2.5 by 2.5 inches squares (you can get it in any hardware store and it's very affordable) and attached it on the empty wall beside my bed. Then, you'll just need hooks like these (see pics) for putting up your bags and purses :)
And it will look like this ^_^

This is much better placed behind the door or if you have lots of bags or hats, use it as a piece of decoration and place it in one wall of your room and show off your collection!

That's how I organize my stuff coz if you have limited space and have too much stuff, then, you need to utilize all spaces available. I hope these tips help! till next time! bye!

Review: TiaNuo Lip Oil/Tint

Hello! I hope everyone will have a great week...Take care of your health...I'm actually sick right now...I had an asthma attack after I cleaned my room last Saturday...arrg! I really hate the dust :(
Anyway, here is a product that I have re-newed my love with. I have used this when I was still in college but stopped using it (I don't really know why). I even get compliments from guys when I use this haha it makes my lips look like I have naturally reddish lips :)
TIANUO LIP OIL/TINT
I LIKE THIS BECAUSE:

- It gives off a very natural tint to my lips. Really a MLBB color.

- Buildable intensity. The more product you apply, the brighter the your lips look.

-The stain lasts long. Maybe 4 hours without re-applying. And even after eating, there's still some tint left on the lips.

- Moisturizing on the lips (That's why it's called lip oil). Girls with dry lips like me that can't use lipsticks coz they cause chapping, should try this. It works great :)

- The product can lasts months even with daily use and frequent reapplying.

- Very affordable. I think it only cost Php20 hehe

- Easy availability. Can be bought at any 7/11 stores nationwide or at Divisoria for bulk purchasing :)

*I think the flash wiped out the color. It's a lot brighter in person*

I don't like this because:

- I don't like the container itself. It's a roll-on type and it kind of leaks at the side so I need to wrap it up with tissue or else my kikay kit will be stained pink!

Other than that, I can't think of any negative comment about it :) I love this product!

NOTE: For those who don't like Chinese products, this is made in China. (I think...based on the name)

Rating: 4.5/5 - I'll give this a 5 star if only the packaging doesn't leak.

Will I re-purchase? Yes! This is my favorite liptint as of the moment :)

This product proves that you can also see treasures in items marked as "cheap" or "drugstore" products :)

Untill my next review! Bye!

Hello!

Hello everyone! My gosh! I can't believe I've been MIA for a long while again! Time really flies when you're having fun...My grandparents came to Manila for a 2-wk stay (They are based in Mindanao and just go here every 3mos)...Also, my relatives from abroad are here in the Philippines and they are staying for a month so we had a lot of get togethers...It's really nice to have family reunions especially if you only get to see them every 2 years or so...my cousins are so big already...I always tell him, "I can't believe you're a teenager already! I'm getting old!" lols ^_^

YUMMY FOODS!
I really hope they can go back here sooner than later. They'll be leaving for Australia on the 11th and I'll really miss them.

We also had a lot of birthday celebrations in the family but of course, the most important is my dad's 51st birthday..I think this is one of the most special one coz he overcame his last illness and it really scared us all. So, happy birthday Papa!

Those are the things that happened to me during my hiatus. I hope everyone is having a fun time too! ^_^
