My Christmas Wishlist~

I am always excited for Christmas because it's my favorite holiday since I was a kid. All the family and friends' gatherings, gift givings, delicious foods and the very merry aura of everyone :)

I usually like writing down my wishlists...it's like I'm shopping for them through my notebook and this usually helps me control my spending because I tend to forget the items I want after writing them hehe ..Anyway, have you thought about your Christmas wishlist for this year? I have! For 2012, I am going gadget crazy ^_~

1. Sony Reader PRS-T2 in White (w/ the case of course)

I have been contemplating for a year now what ebook reader I wanted to buy for myself. At first I wanted an Amazon Kindle but the consumer feedback is not that good because they usually need to exchange it around 3-4 times before they can get a fully working gadget. I know it is cheap at around $70 only and if it is working the rating is 5/5 but the hassle of returning the product in case I get a defective one is not an option since I live in the Philippines and it would be expensive to ship it back to the US. 

I have also considered buying the BN Nook Glow because of the backlight but there's a lot of consumer reviews saying the technology of the light is not yet perfected and just caused some problems. This is the same with the new Kindle Paperwhite which I also considered. So then I have decided to just get a basic one.

And there comes Sony. It is a very established brand for making high quality electronics so I don't think I'll need to worry about quality. Although the Sony Reader PRS-T2 is just a basic ereader (nothing flashy like a backlight) with WiFi and is quite pricey if compared to the competitions at $129, I love the fact that this has expandable memory. It also has a very responsive touch screen and an option to use physical buttons to change pages. The design is very sleek too and looks way better that the others. My only problem is that, Sony Philippines doesn't sell this and they can't order it for me. So I don't know where to purchase this...Any idea?


2. Samsung Galaxy Camera (in White)

Doesn't it look nice? I am so in love with it! It has a 16MP camera, 21x Optical Zoom, can record a full HD video, WiFi connectivity and has an Android Jelly bean processor. It also has a capacity to operate Instagram if I want to send it directly from the camera. It is so pretty to look at too :)

I am due to change my digital camera because it is dying on me already. I have used it very well for at least 3 years and it is time for it to rest. I am considering buying a Canon point-and-shoot but then my bf showed me this and I changed my mind. This model will arrive here in the Philippines this December and I am excited to see it in person and also to know how much it is. While others take pictures with their tablets and smart phones to upload on their Instagram or FB, I am gonna use a high quality digital camera haha it would be so fun to use especially with the way it looks. It's like the son of a digital camera and galaxy s3 ^_^


3. Clarisonic Mia  (in Turquoise)

It's been 4 years since the hype exploded in the Beauty Community here in Blogger world and on Youtube about Clarisonic. I have watched/read a lot of reviews of bloggers who have used this for more than 2 years already and I got convinced by PBunnie's  review on this because she's been using hers for more than 3 years already and her Clarisonic is still going strong. Her skin is also smooth and flawless which I wanted. According to her, after using the Clarisonic for more than 6 months(?) her pimple and blackhead problems disappeared and that's my hope to happen to me if I ever purchase this. I have clogged pores (since I'm oily) especially on my T-zone area and that's why my forehead can never be free of bumps and since this tool is meant to clarify your skin, I think this will be a great investment.


I don't have makeup lemmings anymore because as I got older I tended to lean more in investing for my skin. I also don't use a lot of makeup now and have decided to just use up everything on my collection instead of buying. So what about you guys? What's your Christmas wishlist?

Venus&Mars New Vegan Brush Set

First, I will fulfill my promise of telling you all about what I have decided about my makeup hobby. Actually, what I'm going to tell you all is not new. I've had this feeling before... It even started from the beginning of my love for makeup. What's that? I always have a phase. I tend to like one particular product at a time then I will end up hoarding from different brands and before I can finish them all, my "love" for those products will evaporate and will change into something else. I started with lippies then blushes then mineral makeup then japanese products then came back to MMU then brushes, then foundations, concealers and last is eyeshadows. Now, my "hoarding signal" is telling me to focus on skin care. This is the reason why I'm not posting FOTDs and EOTDs lately..I don't have the urge to apply makeup..I don't even touch my newly purchased 88 coastal scents palette..which is kinda sad coz I have used it for 10x max and not all colors are used only 15 shades (I think). This is why I'm selling this palette together with my MAC pigment samples (that I rarely used too) in GT coz I don't want them to just sit in my traincase until they expire..So if anyone of you want to buy my slightly used eyeshadows, just leave me a comment here or in my Chatbox..I just want these babies to go to someone who will appreciate them :)

Now for the good news! Jamie (the owner of Venus & Mars) texted me yesterday that her new brushes are here at last! I'm so excited to see the pictures of these brushes..They look gorgeous! It is the first ever anti-bacterial brushes available locally (by a Filipino company) . My Wishlist for this Summer - Sigma Brushes

Hi guys! I want to share with you all my "wishlist/lemming" for this summer..I really am saving up for all of these items since I feel that I "need" them LOL :)

Sigma Makeup Essential Kit - Face and Eyes - This kit is from sigmamakeup.com and all the brushes they are selling is said to be very comparable to MAC brushes..I have saw many great reviews about these brushes that they really work like their MAC counterpart..as you all know, I'm back to having a student budget since I left my work already and so I really can't afford buying MAC brushes (they are really expensive here in the Philippines!)..and the practical me can't help but chant in my head "this is great! you should have it! this is cheap!" when I first saw the reviews on them..this set is priced $49 so if I divide it by 6, it means I will be only paying $8 for each! that's cheap IMO...I will have great quality MAC-dupes for only $8..It's just sad that they are out-of-stock right now..but it is also good at the same time coz it gave me enough time to save up for them..I really hope the shipping is not that expensive :)

So what's yours? I'm pretty sure you have something on your wishlist coz all addicts have a wishlist haha ..Ciao! :)

My Birthday Wishlist

I got this idea from the Swiper, Phoebe, when she posted her Christmas list for Santa. But then, my birthday is nearer and so I decided to make a birthday wishlist instead haha..I hope one of my godparents can see this post so that I can receive these as gifts instead of me buying them hehe :)


1. Givenchy Phenomen Mascara

I have seen great reviews of this product on youtube.com and it really delivers..this can really make your lashes longer and fuller like you have falsies on..but I don't think this is available locally yet..bummer..so I guess unless one of my godparents will send me one from other country, I won't be able to get my hands on this :(

2. Pure Luxe Bubblegum Ballz Eyeshadows Collection

I like the rainbow color..it's not that expensive too and both Vanessa (nessasarymakeup) and Julie (of youtube.com) said that the quality is great..and I myself has tested their eyeshadows, I'm really lemming for samples of this..I want to make a rainbow look! :)




3. Classic White Blouse
It is said that everyone must have a classic white collared shirt...and I don't have any..so I want to get one since this would probably stay in my closet for a long time :)

5. Classic Metal Headband
I love wearing headbands since I have medium length hair and I hate getting baby hairs on my face...but I have a problem finding a piece that I could wear during parties..then one of the GT sis posted this picture..and I love it1 I want to find one just like it..do you have any idea where I might get a piece of headband that has this design?

6. Booties
I still don't have a pair of booties and I really want to have one..but just like with the headband, I want to get something that looks like this..simple and classic...it looks sexy too! I wonder if there's a shoe store here that carry the same classic design as this..hmm..anyone? :)


7. I want to have what Eun Hye have! haha :)
Joking aside, what I want is the eyeglasses, the long soft curls of her hair and her clear skin...oh how I envy her skin..but since I am already doing something about that, I'm just praying that my skin will look so much better when my birthday comes :)
I love her eyeglasses too..though I am not sure if that would fit my face shape..hehe..what do you think guys? will that looks good on me too?
Lastly, I'm now regretting having my hair cut short again hehe...I should have kept it long then have it styled in a soft curly fashion..I haven't tried sporting a curly do' soI'm curious on how I will look like haha :D
