Supposed FOTN for Kpop Night

Supposed because I was unable to attend last night's event at Candyshop. I was so excited to attend a clubbing event for all Kpop fanatics because 1) I have only been to 2 bars ever and 2) It's gonna be filled with music I enjoy and people that's just like me.. BUT My ankle started hurting again yesterday morning so I can't go out to dance the night away :'(

Anyway, I've decided to prep up and do my makeup anyway hehe just so I can take some pictures. Actually, I'm the only one happy with it coz my parents and bro doesn't like seeing me with full face makeup LOL ^_^

My look during my job hunting yesterday ^_^

Hello! How's everyone? I hope you had a better Monday than me..I really had a bad experience in Aegis People Support yesterday..I can't even put into words how frustrated and tired I was..I'll do a separate blog entry for it (maybe later after this post) so as not to interfere with my topic..anyways, I just want to share with you all an FOTD..I usually do this look whenever I need to have a nude-makeup or a classic neutral look and this applies in school, work or job hunting since you will get to be interviewed and such. So yesterday, I decided to sports this look instead of my usual colorful makeup hehe..and also I want to look as natural as possible since it was very hot yesterday and I don't want to look too made up then when the makeup melts due to the heat my face will look bad..

I used all MMU on my face since I want something light and since I'm breaking out too, I don't want to use a traditional foundation that can aggravate it..I have 2 huge zits on my cheek and I was so lucky to be able to neutralize the redness and make it a little un-noticeable..

FACE:
- Ellana Sheer Velvet primer
- Meow Flawless Feline foundation in Frisky Abyssinian
- Aromaleigh URFP in Peaches and Cream
- Lumiere blush in "Ditto O"


For the lips, I used Lancome lipstick in 108 and sheer gloss. I'll take a picture of the two.

EYES:
- SkinFood salmon concealer
- Ellana Awake concealer
- MAC painterly paintpot
- Coastal Scents 88 matte palette - I used 4 colors: white (highlight), light brown (lids), medium brown (crease), dark brown (upper lashline)
- Estee Lauder high impact mascara in black

By the way, I'm loving the Estee Lauder high impact mascara now because it gave my lashes some added length and a little volume plus it did not smudge that much even though it is not waterproof..the only downside of this product in my opinion is it weighs down my lashes so I need to curl them again..But I can live with that :)

Sweet Date Makeup

Hi guys! First, I want to update you all that I have many time to blog already..yipee! Why? coz my training is finished now haha :)

Because I have been so stressed and tired these past months, the idea of having a new refreshed look enticed me so I had a haircut yesterday (check out my post about it here) with my sister..then today, I went out for a date with O ("O" is my nickname for my bf..short for Oscar haha). We went to the mall, watched a movie (Harry Potter) and dined in a Japanese restaurant (Tempura) then we went to his place to play with his very cute niece (who is also my goddaughter hehe) :)

Here's how I looked today..I tried keeping it very simple but still fun..so I just applied a purple eyeshadow all over my lid and use a warm neutral shade to contour. I also placed purple liner over my black eyeliner to give my eyes a pop of color..perfect for dates during daytime or even for school :)

And for my lips, I chose to use a very pretty nude color..This is my current favorite among all the lipsticks I have..it is very non drying and already has some shine so I don't need to put lipgloss on top anymore :)

Can this pass as a family picture? haha I think Tanya is too fair for us..my bf is tanned (he loves getting a tan while playing tennis) while I'm naturally fair (because of my Chinese bloodline) but I don't think I can produce a child as fair as her haha..Tanya is half Russian so she looks like a foreigner :) (for more pictures of us, check them out here)

Update + FOTN/EOTN

Hi guys! I know I promised you a falsies post but I still can't put mine properly haha I think I've tried putting them on at least 5x already but it look so sloppy..so I'll just be posting my first FOTN since my skin asthma attack. This is taken during my Angkong's 72nd birthday last April 24 at Chinatown Restaurant :)

Skin Update: This is my 2nd day using Skin 79 BB cream since the itchies went away..I'm sure that I have no pimples 2 days ago..but now I have small ones on my whole face! I really am not sure if this is because of Skin 79 or it is just because I have very sensitive skin now and I react with anything I put on my face..I don't know..I'll keep on testing until I reach a conclusion..I don't want to let go of my Skin 79 BB cream yet hehe :)

Here's a shot with my Angkong. I think he looks so happy coz he's with his family again after 3 months of being away. You know, every birthday of his doubles as a family reunion, and since he is based in Mindanao and wents home here in Manila every 3 months for 2 weeks only, we really miss each other. And I'm happy that he got a good news as a birthday gift (my Mamang who was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast Cancer last 2 months ago but she doesn't need chemotherapy coz it is benign and is responding well with oral treatments) so he's happy about that :)

Here's a shot of me after 5 hours without blotting..I still look good right? not that oily even after I ate a lot of oily foods hehe..this is the reason why I love my BB cream and MMU..keeps me looking fresh..My aunts all commented I look blooming the whole night :)

Laura Mercier Chocolate Truffle lotion

My mom received a gift from a client the other day, and of course knowing that I love cosmetics, she shows the package to me immediately hehe..when I opened the package, I saw an eyeshadow palette by Estee Lauder, a facial wash by Estee Lauder and a body lotion by Laura Mercier..I'm guessing that my mom's friend is a fan of Estee Lauder coz last Christmas, she gave my mom an Estee Lauder makeup palette and facial wash too..I'm not actually interested with EL's makeup coz I don't like the pigmentation..whatever method and tools I use, I can't make the colors show so I gave up..what really caught my eyes is the Chocolate scented body lotion from Laura Mercier..

This sample of Laura Mercier body lotion in Chocolate Truffle smells sooo good! it really smells like chocolate...luckily, my mom is not a fan of sweet scented stuffs so she gave this to me hehe..I quickly applied a small amount on my hands (I am happy that it is not sticky) and the scent gave me so much pleasure (I'm a choco-holic since I was a baby haha so no wonder I love chocolate scented stuffs)..then I went on in washing the dishes coz I only applied it just to see if the scent is the same on the tube and when applied..after washing a gazillion dishes (I'm only exagerrating hehe), I washed my hands and dried it with a towel..I instinctively sniffed my hands coz I want to make sure my hands are clean..and to my surprise, I can smell a trace of the chocolate on the back of my hands...cool! so I was happy that the scent lasts...I even went to sleep with the lotion on my arms coz I want to know how long the scent lasts..and after the 8 hours of sleep, I woke up still smelling like chocolate..haha..now I am wondering how much this lotion costs..coz I want to get one before I finish up this tube..any ideas? :) 


Oh by the way, I want you all to meet my Troll...he is 12 years old (I think)...I remember buying it when I was still in elementary...coz I love trolls when I was a kid..I am fascinated with them..they looks cute...I miss buying trolls..do you know where I can buy them? trolls that looks like mine..please send me a message if you knew where :)
