Kpop Update: F(x) "Rum Pum Pum Pum"

F(x) is back after their 1 year hiatus. Yay!!  I really don't get why SM Entertainment don't showcase them more often. Anyway, they are back with a brand new single called "Rum Pum Pum Pum". Their MV came out late last night and I was really excited about it because I love all the songs of F(x).

Watch the video first before reading my reaction :)

First off, I love the MV! It's kinda like a mixture of Pinnochio and Electric Shock which makes it look cool. I didn't even care that it's the usual SM boxed videos because the girls really looked great in this one. I'm even thinking of recreating their makeup look. Krystal and Luna shined in this video the most and I really liked their hair colors. Victoria is still as gorgeous as ever while Sulli still looks cute. Amber looks pretty but I just wish they put her in pretty clothes. Why does she have the worst outfit always? She can still look pretty while maintaining her boyish image, SM just needs to find good stylist.

Also, I just wish they distributed the exposure equally among the members because there's too much of Krystal here. I know she's beautiful and probably the most popular member and that it's for promotions BUT this is a group MV so they shouldn't focus on her if it's not her turn. Be fair SM! The other members should shine too!

Now, on the song, it definitely doesn't have the "Love at first hear" effect. It is the type of song that will grow on you and will like after listening to it a couple of times. I believe I needed to hear it for at least 6x before I started liking it which made me a little sad. All their previous songs are way way better than this and I have liked all of them since the first time I heard them until now. Rum Pum Pum Pum is kinda lacking something to make me say "wow!" but I will still download it because I'm an F(x) fan and I will still support them. I just hope their next song would be better :)

RATING: 3/5 -
The song is just okay for me. You need to listen to it a couple of times before you start liking it because it is a type of song that needs getting used to.

Kpop Update: Nichkhun for Bench

Happy Friday everyone!

Ben Chan Tweeted yesterday morning confirming that Nichkhun of 2PM is the newest addition in Bench's Global Trendsetter Endorsers together with Super Junior Siwon & Donghae, Lee Min Ho, Jessica Sanchez and Maroon 5 Adam Levine. I really admire Ben Chan because he knows which international endorsers to choose and when to use them. He knows that these celebrities have die-hard fans and he can earn big during contests periods hehe :)

Seriously, I can't believe it when I saw the tweet! Out of 2PM, Nichkhun is definitely my bias and I am just so happy he is the one they choose. I am already so excited to see him on their concert next week and now with this new endorsement, I know he will be having a fan meet too in the near future. I can't wait to see what kind of fan meet they will have for Nichkhun...if it's gonna be like with Siwon and Donghae or like with Lee Min Ho.  Either way, I will definitely join even if Bench products are crappy in quality. I'll probably end up buying undies this time because even if those fades after several washes, I can still wear them hehe :)

Here are the videos that Bench uploaded:

Kpop Update: SNSD is back!

Happy Thursday everyone! My promise to blog 3x a week starts now! I hope you would all check my blog every day especially on Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday because those are the days I will upload blog posts. I'm really crossing my fingers that I could accomplish this goal of mine.

If you haven't seen my 2013 New Years Resolutions, you can click here so you can share with me some suggestions on how I can achieve them :)

I will start this year with a Kpop Update because this MV was released at exactly January 1, 2013 and I love to review it. I wanted to do Kpop Video/Song reviews like this one every now and then coz I think it's fun hehe :)

SNSD / Girls' Generation
"I Got A Boy"

I really really am so excited for this comeback! I missed SNSD so much because except for TaeTiSeo last year, they hardly appeared on anything Korean. They focused too much on their promotion in Japan just like 2PM and I didn't like their Japanese singles that much because they all sound the same. SO, I was really ecstatic when SME started releasing teasers late last year and I really waited for the MV to go live at Youtube.

Have you watched it already? Oh my gosh! It's so awesome!! I can't rave enough because it is so different from all their songs. "I Got A Boy" has a little hip hop feel to it and I really loved the combination of all 3 melodies (slow, dance and hiphop). And the dance portion really showed how talented they are in dancing. Everyone got a good screen time too especially Sooyoung and Hyoyeon who were always in the background. I also enjoyed Tiffany's solo and I'm glad SM gave her a part since she's usually a background singer even though she have the voice.

I also liked the colorful theme especially on their hairs haha Sunny keeps on having the most bizarre hair color and makeup among all of them. Luckily, she can carry it well because she have cute features. Love the outfits too...I just don't think Seohyun looked that great in this video. She looked awkward wearing those clothes and hairdo'.

I really really love it! I can't wait to see a live performance because it's gonna be daebak! This is definitely a good comeback song for them because they were almost forgotten in 2012 due to being MIA in the Kpop world.

What about you? Did you like it or hate it? Share them in the comments section below. I would love to hear your thoughts on these changes SM made for SNSD.

Oh, and lastly, I wanted to do a makeup look based on this video. Which one is the best?

Kpop Updates: Super Junior, T-Ara, SNSD, Oneday (2AM+2PM)

Hello Kpop addicts! Here's another Kpop update for you guys, although I know you probably have seen these already hehe ^_^

1. Super Junior's new singles: "Sexy, Free & Single" and "For You"

I think "Sexy, Free & Single" is another hit for Super Junior. It really has a catchy lyrics and melody (although there's a one line that is weird when you first hear it --

You can hear "Sexy, free and single I'm ready to bingo" BUT it is written like this:
"Sexy, free and single I'm ready too. Bingo"

Bingo used as an alternative for "yahoo"

Anyway, I love the song and the dance and the sexiness of each member. They looked more buff than before especially Siwon, Leeteuk, Sungmin and Donghae...Hotness overload ^_^

Here's a live performance of "Sexy, Free and Single" + "For You" which is their thank you song for all the ELFs all over the worlds ^_^

I really liked the first part of "For You" especially because Leeteuk (as the leader and the rightful representative of SuJu) said it in English so that all of their fans can understand.

"This song is dedicated to the world's biggest fan club, the ELF
My girls, my angels"

I was so happy hearing those words and also KRY (Kyuhun, Ryewok, Yesung) sang it with emotions. They really have great voices ^_^

2. Collaboration of 2AM and 2PM (Oneday) = "One Day"
I really love JYP Entertainment coz they gave 2AM and 2PM a single (even though it's Japanese)! Fans like me who both love 2AM and 2PM as a group were really happy to see the boys together again officially. There have been a couple of special stage performance where these 2 joined forces but nothing beats an official production, right? ^_^

Here's their first official project as ONEDAY (2AM+2PM) and they are singing "One Day"

I love this! I hope JYP Entertainment can do a JYP Family Concert here in the Philippines so I can watch them live ^_^

3. T-Ara's comeback with new members in their new single "Day by Day"

I'm not really sure why T-ara's company added 2 new members when 7 are already enough and not everyone can sing a part. I think the problem is the distribution of the lines so I don't get it why they needed to add 2 more wherein they can't even handle 7...This really beats good reasoning. Anyway, they introduced Dani, the 14-year-old new member who grew up in the US, in this MV. I loved the concept of this MV coz it feels like I'm watching an RPG game or something with sexy girls that know how to kick ass

Love how Hyomin looks great as a redhead. She really looks like an anime character. The others looked great too ^_^

Their live performance of "Day by Day" also showed the other new member. Her name is Ahreum (which I think is a really cool and unique name) and she has a great singing voice which is I guess the reason she was added.Check her out in this live performance.

I'm not sure if I love the song per se, but that's maybe because I personally prefer their dance/disco type of songs like "Lovey, Dovey" and "Roly Poly" which showcased their dancing abilities. ^_^

Even though T-ara is a 9-member group now, I think they are still one of the best Kpop girl groups and is ever evolving. I will continue to support the group and also the new members coz it's not their fault that they are added in the end when the group is already famous.

4. Girls Generation/ SNSD released another Japanese single "Paparazzi"

Even though this is not really a Kpop song, I will still include this here because I love SNSD and they are a Kpop group albeit they are singing Japanese songs. I prefer the dance version of the MV so that's the one I will post here.

This one is really catchy. I can't help but sing along with this song. It has the same feel with "Mr. Taxi" their other Japanese song (I liked that too). I haven't seen a good footage of their live performance of this so I can't share anything with you guys. I'm not sure if it's because there's only a few music programs in Japan and also fewer who has HD cameras or no one has uploaded it yet at Youtube. Regardless, I still love the quality of this dance MV released by SME.

Paparazzi is a song that fits SNSD's style because it's catchy, has a good dance step and their voices fit this type of dance songs. I love their stage costumes but I'm not sure what's the connection of a tuxedo in being a celebrity. I think if they wore something like their costume in TTS Twinkle, it would fit better hehe well that's just my personal opinion :)

Pet Review: Nutripet Twistix Maxx in BBQ/Milk flavor

I just wanted to do a quick review on this denta snack for dogs from the brand NutriPet. Me and my bf got this from Dogs in the City  Trinoma branch early this month coz we are looking for a denta bone for Hershey to chew on. We first wanted to get the Pedigree one but they don't have it for small dogs so we just looked around the store for an alternative. This caught our eyes coz it is the perfect size and it comes in different flavors (we chose BBQ and milk). It is also quite affordable at Php150 only and it contains a lot of products inside ^_^

It is stated in the package that it helps in making the teeth and bones stronger and also reduces plaque and tartar build up.

The ingredients are:

I love the fact that everything here is digestible and there's no ingredients in it that can make it bad for your dog. The Guaranteed Analysis part is also appreciated especially if you are cautious on the amount of protein, fat, etc it contains.

The product looks like this:

I guess the dark brown is the BBQ flavor and the light brown is the milk. It really smells yummy and my dogs love to chew it ^_^

The size is comparable to a regular glue stick, around 2 inches long and the diameter is around the size of a 25 centavo coin.

It's the right size for puppies and small dogs coz they won't be able to swallow it accidentally..it happened to me before when I gave a treat to one of my pups and they swallowed it whole...I was so scared that they will choke and won't be able to breathe. This one fits perfectly on their small mouth and they can chew it leisurely.

Here are some pictures of my babies enjoying their daily treats ^_^

And if you want to see how these 3 eats in a video, watch it here ^_^

Aren't they cute? They have their own different way of eating their snack hehe ^_^

RATING: I am giving this 4.5/5 coz my furbabies really loves them and they didn't have any adverse reaction to it.

The first episode will air on June 16 tentatively but at least they withdrawn their announcement that the show was already cancelled. Yay! I can't wait to see WooJung and TeukSo couples. Kpop Updates: JJ Project

Okay, JYP really did a good job by making JB and JR be a cast of  Dream High 2 before he made them debut as idols. This made the duo popular in a wider range of audience and the anticipation for their actual debut as singers much anticipated. It is really a wise move. I just saw their live performance today for the first time and although it took me some time to like the song "Bounce", I really enjoyed watching the two of them perform with so much passion and energy. It made me want to dance and bounce with them hehe ^_^

Here's a link to their debut stage:

I really love seeing the smile on their faces. They look so happy performing. I hope they will make it big in this industry because they really have talent. Can't wait to see them on variety shows ^_^

KDrama Highlights: Dream High 2 - "We Are The B"

Hello! I'm so excited to do a Korean Drama post here hehe so happy. ^_^

As some of you might know, I love Asian dramas better than the local ones because the stories are not frustrating. They don't make the drama longer just because it became a hit, they don't repeat the same events in the whole story too (Remember Santino? That kid keeps getting kidnapped and always dying...it frustrates the hell out of me). Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese dramas always have specific number of episodes so you know that every episode will be something different and important for the whole story...no fillers just to make it long. So yeah, that's why I love them so much...and of course, who don't want to see eye-candy actors and actresses right? hehe ^_^

I am now currently watching the monday-tuesday drama DREAM HIGH 2. It only have 16 episode and they are already on the 10th. I just wanted to share this performance that happened during the first audition for the search for the super idols. I really can't help but watch it again and again on my ipod. It's so addicting! I love it!

Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdGlBussyQY&feature=related

"We Are The B" performed on the ending of Episode 9 by:

Kang Sora (Sin Hae Song)
JR (Jeong EEbong)
Jinwoon (Jin Yoojin)
Jeong Yeon Joo (Lee Seul)
Kim Ji Soo (Park Hong Joo)
Yoo Seo Yeong (Park Dong Soon)

Video Tutorial: Lee Hyori Inspired Makeup

Hello! Good day to you all! I woke up very well rested even though we slept very late last night because of my mom's birthday party celebration.

I had the urge to do a makeup tutorial this morning...maybe it's the right time because it's been so long since I created one....but I wanted to do a video type of tutorial.. I don't know what came into me haha ^_^

Please do give me a comment on my performance...This is my very first time shooting my self doing makeup and so I don't know if the lighting is okay and if my editing is good too. I'm not really well versed in Windows Movie Maker haha :)

Anyways, so here's my Lee Hyori Inspired Makeup Tutorial.

I think the lighting washed out the colors.. This look is very bright in person...anyways, I'll be waiting for your feedbacks and I will try my best to improve on my skills ^_^

Till my next post! Bye!
